On-Call Service Partner (Proctor) – Part-Time

About the role

This on‑call position supports the integrity of assessments at the AUC Sint Maarten Testing Center. The Proctor monitors examinations, ensures compliance with testing policies, and provides a professional environment for students.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and apply expert knowledge of Testing Center policies, practices and procedures.
• Verify student identity during the check‑in process and assist with security screening.
• Continuously monitor students as they complete assessments, either in person or via camera monitors.
• Address student questions and issues promptly, escalating when necessary.
• Safeguard the testing environment against misconduct and ensure fair testing conditions.
• Accurately document all incidents and assist with post‑assessment wrap‑up activities.
• Attend pre‑assessment briefings, training sessions, and comply with time‑keeping policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with students and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to write accurate reports.
• Capability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and navigate stairs for extended periods.
• Maintain confidentiality of testing materials and student records.
• Willingness to monitor and respond to communications outside regular hours.
