On‑Call Service Partner (Proctor)

About the role

This on‑call position monitors and safeguards the integrity of assessments delivered at AUC Sint Maarten’s Testing Center. The proctor ensures a professional, secure environment and supports students throughout their testing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and apply expert knowledge of Testing Center policies, practices and procedures.
• Verify student identity during check‑in and assist with security screening.
• Continuously monitor students during assessments, address questions promptly, and escalate issues when needed.
• Document all incidents accurately and assist with set‑up and post‑assessment activities.
• Attend pre‑assessment briefings, training sessions and comply with time‑keeping policies.

Required profile

• Ability to communicate professionally with students and colleagues.
• Capability to write detailed, accurate reports and follow instructions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and navigate stairs for up to 6 hours per shift.
• Maintain confidentiality of testing material and student records.
• Availability to monitor communications outside regular hours and punctuality for assignments.

Required skills

• Basic computer and application troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and ability to install Microsoft products on a personal device.
